Notes (Japanese Tour)

Martin Farkas: Jonah played everything on the Invisible Eyes EP.  For the shows, Mark Hurst played drums for us on our first Japanese tour as Jesse couldn't commit to going to Japan and our bass player (Matt Miller) couldn't come either, so Mike Haliechuk played bass on that tour as well. It was one of the tightest and well practised line-ups we had.. Mark really blew it out of the water with how prepared he was.

Career Suicide Practice Tape:
Mix tape of recordings of songs the band needed Mike Haliechuk (Fucked Up) to learn for the tour/sets.

Extract From ExD Interview published Mar 23 2008:
J: ...Yannick of Feral Ward helped set up that tour with us and...
He released something, didn’t he?
J: Yeah, he released “Invisible Eyes”, coincided with our tour of Japan was ‘cause we managed to play shows in the States with FORWARD which is sort of how we got our foot in the door with going over there. “Invisible Eyes”.
So you met FORWARD here before going over there?
M: We almost didn’t. The border guards didn’t want to let us in.

Japanese Tour Press - Sleeve Design & Obi
Sleeve is folded piece of heavy duty card, with matt black print; it looks super nice, but marks easily. The front of the obi has the tour dates listed.

Japanese Tour Press - Obi and vinyl:
This shows the back side of  the sleeve, opened out with the obi and and vinyl laid on top. The back of the obi has Japanese writing and CS logos. The vinyl is clear, with white labels - some, like this one have black swirls.
